Chapter 1. Overview

At the beginning of the program you’ll see the program logo. This application contains four sections: DIAGNOSIS, TREATMENT, TONGUE DIAGNOSIS, AND PULSE DIAGNOSIS. All of them can be easily accessed by tapping on the appropriate buttons of the startup screen.

Chapter 2. Diagnosis
In the menu bar of your screen, you will see DIAGNOSIS option when you click on it you will see a dropdown menu that consists of two sections:

1. Diagnosis
2. Treatment

First you’ll click on the Diagnosis section; the screen will demonstrate a list of categories on the left side of the screen, of possible symptoms that a patient may be going through. The practitioner may use this as a questionnaire guide, as they check off the list of symptoms and the specific descriptions. As a result you have access to see a list of possible Treatments for your patient.

As you can see in this picture, what you need to do is under “Category” click on a diagnosis and then to the right you will be able to check off any perspective detailed symptoms that applies.

For example:

If the practitioner asks the patient if sleep is one of their problems, you go to the category list and click on “Sleep”. Then as you’ll notice to the right of the screen you will see a list of different possible sleep symptoms described in details that can be checked off the list. Therefore, if the category is “Sleep”, the descriptions of the symptoms in details break and narrow down the possible treatments for the patient.

After all of the symptoms that the patient has complained about have been checked off, click on “View Diagnosis” at the bottom of the left hand side of the screen and it will proceed to the next screen with the possible treatments in respect to the symptoms.

*** Do take into account that if you would like to start over, you can click on “Clear“, then at the bottom of the left hand side of the screen and it will clear all the checked off marks and allow you to start fresh.

Proceed to next screen and you will see on the left hand side a list of possible Diagnosis that was concluded upon the symptoms that the patient was having. The list of diagnosis is in no specific order; therefore each diagnosis is just as consistent. After a diagnosis is selected, to the left hand of the screen you will notice a list of treatments described in detailed.

Chapter 3. Treatment

Click on DIAGNOSIS in the menu bar on top of the screen and then the dropdown

Menu will have the Treatment section for you to click on.

The Category sections will have a list of all the different part of the internal system starting with GB and ending with UB. When you click on a particular category you will seen it on the right hand side once again in detailed description of treatments divided into three options.

· Acupuncture Points
· Acupuncture Points (4 Needle)
· Herbal Medication

Each section has an edit option which allows the practitioner to change it upon his/her preference. We can not guarantee that this diagnosis is 100% correct. Ultimately it would be the practitioner’s decision to see what fits the patient best.

A convenient feature on this page is the “Print” button because it offers the ability to print out the Treatment page. This is handy because it allows the practitioner or patient to have a physical copy of the treatment information.

*** Another thing to keep in mind is if the patient decides that he/she forgot or added another symptom, you are able to click on “Back to Intake Form” to go back and review your list of symptom.

Chapter 4. Tongue Diagnosis
If you click on TONGUE on the menu bar, you will a screen that resembles the one below.

To the right of the screen you will the “Tongue Diagnosis Description” that lists all of the different possible types of tongue diagnosis that a patient can have. As you click on a specific diagnosis you will see a corresponding image of a tongue and a full description of the symptoms. These features really allow the practitioner to have a clear visual of the tongue and its characteristics.

This page also consists of the “Search” option which once again permits the practitioner to search for “Words/ Phrases” with a lot more convenience.

As the full descriptions are shown to the right of the screen, do note that you can also edit or add information inside the “Tongue Diagnosis Description” box, and again “Save” & “Print” it to keep for future reference.

Chapter 5. Pulse Diagnosis

On the menu bar of the screen you can see the PULSE option. If you click on it you will a screen appear that resembles the picture below.

To the right of the screen you are able to see “Pulse Diagnosis” list, that consist of 28 pulse diagnosis diagrams and explanation to the left of the screen.

The diagram shows a clear and very descriptive way to visually see and the levels of pressure according to the indication of the diagnosis.

Each diagnosis that you click on has a set of full descriptions that you can see in its entirety by using the scroll bar up or down on the side of the screen. The practitioner has the ability to edit the information to his/her preference and then has the option to “Save” it and “Print” it to keep for practitioner’s records.

Another option given in this program is the “Search” option which allows you to find key words/ phrases more conveniently.
